About the Position:

• Full-Time Monday to Friday with approximate start & finish times 5:30am to 1:30pm
• 13.5% Superannuation
• Consistent work and stable hours

Cochrane’s Transport is seeking an experienced and reliable HC Truck Driver to join our Whyalla Depot on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting general freight, including pallets, skids and cartons, to a variety of delivery points throughout Whyalla and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operating an HC vehicle
• Delivering and collecting general freight
• Loading and unloading freight as required
• Operating a forklift
• Completing delivery documentation and required paperwork
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
• Providing professional customer service
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

About you:

• A current HC Driver’s License or greater
• A current Forklift License
• Previous experience delivering general freight
• A strong safety focus and knowledge of load restraint requirements
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
• A reliable and professional attitude
