We're now seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Victorian logistics, warehousing and distribution operations and play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager VIC, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of logistics, transport, warehousing and distribution activities across the Victorian operation. You'll lead a high-performing team while partnering closely with Production, Customer Service and Sales to ensure delivery commitments are achieved and customer expectations are exceeded.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about operational excellence, customer service and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all transport planning, scheduling and distribution activities.
Manage third-party freight providers and transport partners.
Optimise routes, freight utilisation and delivery efficiency.
Manage urgent deliveries and resolve logistics issues proactively.
Warehouse Operations
Oversee receiving, inventory management, picking, packing and dispatch functions.
Drive inventory accuracy and stock integrity.
Improve warehouse workflows, space utilisation and operational productivity.
Provide accurate delivery forecasts and logistics updates.
Manage customer delivery expectations and resolve service issues.
Lead, coach and develop warehouse, dispatch and logistics teams.
Ensure compliance with HVNL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and workplace safety requirements.
Manage freight budgets and transport expenditure.
About You
You'll be an experienced logistics leader with a strong track record of leading transport and warehouse operations within a manufacturing, industrial or distribution environment.
To be successful, you will have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in Logistics, Transport or Supply Chain Management.
Strong knowledge of freight management, inventory control and distribution processes.
Strong leadership capability, with experience leading teams in fast-paced operational environments.
Excellent problem-solving, planning and stakeholder management skills.
