Hardware Engineer (Atlanta)

Position: Hardware Engineer (eInfochips Inc) Location: Atlanta, GA (Complete Onsite) Experience range – 5+ years What You'll Be Doing: Experience in all stages of Hardware Product Development and Testing Experience in High power, three phase AC, High voltage DC product testing Knowledge of EV Chargers (DC and AC EVSE) and it’s working principal Knowledge of BMS(Battery management system), OP-AMP and mixed circuit design AC to DC and DC to DC, DC to AC power supply design Knowledge of interfaces like RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, UART, Wi-Fi, BT Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance. Various tools like EPLAN , ALTIUM ,JIRA Lab instruments like Multi-meters, Oscilloscope, EV simulator, Keysight CDS, Thermal Chamber Assist in the design and execution of test plans for EV charging hardware and software systems. Set up and maintain test environments including power electronics, communication interfaces (OCPP, ISO 15118), and vehicle simulators.

Perform functional, regression, and stress testing on EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment). Document test procedures, results, and anomalies in a clear and organized manner. Collaborate with design, firmware, and systems engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Support compliance testing for industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC, SAE). Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks. What We Are Looking For: Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.

Basic understanding of EV charging protocols and power systems is a plus. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for test automation is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to EVSE or automotive systems testing. Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, or Ethernet.
