Gynecology Per Diem Opportunity

Job Description The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Hospital i s actively seeking a per-diem gynecologist to work one day a week at the Optimus Clinic in downtown Stamford. 12-hour hospitalists shifts are available to supplement the P/T position. U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) named Stamford Hospital as a High Performing Hospital for Maternity in its "Best Hospitals for Maternity in 2024" ratings.

This is Stamford Hospital's first appearance on the list, and we are one of only two hospitals in Connecticut and the only hospital in Fairfield County to earn this distinction. Stamford Hospital is rate 1 in Fairfield County by US News & World Report in 2025. Highlights: Work either one (1) full day or two (2) half days providing gynecological care and mentoring OB/GYN residents 1/2 day per week available for surgery at the hospital for patients you want to follow, compensated additionally Supplemental 12-hour shifts are available, nights, days, weekends or hybrid.
