About The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a hands‑on role in strengthening the day‑to‑day financial controls that sit at the heart of our lending operations.
Responsibilities
- Financial Operations & Control:
- assist with daily and month‑end reconciliations across our cash, trust, ledger, and loan‑book controls.
- support cash flow analysis, loan account monitoring, and investigation of reconciliation exceptions.
- Regulatory Reporting:
- assist with the preparation and quality review of data supporting our regulatory reporting obligations.
- Audit:
- assist with year‑end procedures and control reviews, ensuring timely compliance and accuracy.
- Other:
- gain ad hoc exposure across other areas within the finance function, including taxation, corporate finance & FP&A, etc.
- Process Improvement:
- contribute to review and improvement of existing checks and processes, including assisting with the creation of new tools and processes.
You Have
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident when you apply.
- You’re an intellectually curious, ambitious self‑starter with a growth mindset.
