Golang Engineer

TEKsystems is seeking two Golang Engineers to support a growing integration and backend engineering function for one of our large customers. Candidates must be willing to interview onsite at a local TEKsystems office, or at the client's locations in IL or OH. Skills Golang TSQL Artificial Intelligence UI Java Additional Skills & Qualifications At least one or two preferred.

AI experience (any AI is acceptable and highly valued) UI development experience, ideally with: Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals Angular preferred, but not required Java experience Experience working across multiple technologies outside of a single stack Role & Responsibilities Backend & Integration Engineering Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang to support enterprise‑scale integrations. Build secure, scalable APIs and services that orchestrate data across internal and third‑party systems. Transform, map, and route data to downstream business platforms with a focus on performance and reliability.

Database Development (MS SQL / TSQL) Develop and maintain complex TSQL logic, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and materialized views. Support and enhance business‑critical SQL components that drive core operational workflows. Optimize SQL performance and ensure data accuracy within production environments.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
