This role is for someone who is ready to lead and modernize how we deliver KYC at scale. You’ll sit at the intersection of controls, process, and execution, with exposure to global KYC requirements and day-to-day partnership with WKO teams across regions. You’ll take ownership of complex remediations, drive root cause analysis end-to-end, and help bring smarter, more automated ways of working into our operating model.
What you’ll do (core responsibilities)
Establish and execute governance across KYC BAU activities, ensuring the right transparency, progress tracking, and timely escalation of risks, issues, and blockers.Lead investigation of emerging issues, perform structured root cause analysis, and partner with WKO teams to define and execute resolution plans.Own the remediation book of work: scope population/impact, track milestones, manage dependencies, and drive delivery in line with SLAs.Coordinate across regional and global teams to ensure consistent execution, clear governance, and early escalation of risks and blockers.Partner with GFCC, Policy, and Procedures to identify gaps, clarify requirements, and translate policy into actionable process and control improvements.Build and enhance tools that automate controls and streamline processes—working with stakeholders to take ideas from concept to implementation.Contribute to ad hoc projects designed to improve the overall quality, efficiency, and outcomes of the KYC framework.Advise on key risks and controls, continuously reassessing effectiveness to support an evolving business and regulatory environment.Coordinate case prioritization, capacity planning, and assignment with Global KYC Middle Office teams to ensure effort is aligned to risk and urgency.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Solid controls knowledge and comfort operating in a risk-and-control environment.Ability to influence and partner across stakeholders and regions.A logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving, and decision-making.Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills (including senior-ready updates).Aptitude for learning new regulations, processes, and technologies quickly.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a high level of intellectual curiosity.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Technical / automation experience (., Alteryx, VBA, or similar tooling).Experience in financial services and/or a professional services environment.
