In this role, you will lead S&P Global Ratings’ Market Outreach globally, with direct accountability for the Americas. You’ll shape a strategy that connects with investors and market participants to inform business priorities and strategic decisions. - Define and execute a global Market Outreach strategy aligned to long-term business, analytical, and commercial priorities
- Lead the global Market Outreach organization with talent strategy, performance, and succession planning
- Maintain accountability for Americas activities while aligning with EMEA and APAC
- Build senior-level relationships with investors, asset owners, insurers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and private market participants
- Ensure market engagement stays connected to evolving trends, investor sentiment, risks, and opportunities
- Generate and disseminate actionable investor insights to support analytical excellence and commercial growth
- Partner with Analytical, Commercial, Growth & Enablement (Product), Marketing, Research and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts
- Represent Ratings at conferences, forums, client meetings, and industry events
- Drive thought leadership to enhance visibility and credibility in global capital markets
- Leverage data, technology, and AI-enabled capabilities to strengthen market intelligence and effectiveness
- Establish KPIs to measure outreach impact and market engagement outcomes
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and development
- Ensure all activities comply with policies and regulatory requirements
- Travel up to 50% and operate with a global enterprise perspective
- 15+ years of experience in structured finance, fund finance, private credit, credit ratings, investment management, capital markets, investor relations, or related fields
- Proven track record leading global or multi-regional teams in complex matrixed environments
- Deep understanding of global credit markets, institutional investors, private markets, and fixed-income investing
- Strong track record building trusted relationships with senior market participants and executives
- Executive presence with ability to influence across markets, cultures, and levels
- Experience developing and executing strategic initiatives with measurable impact
- Ability to translate market trends and investor feedback into actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, complexity, and shifting priorities
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and succession planning experience
- Collaborative mindset with ability to influence without direct authority
- Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, enterprise ownership, and accountability
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Willingness to travel globally
- Final-stage interview requires in-person attendance
- Preferred qualifications include Master’s/MBA/CFA and experience in ratings or capital markets
