Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist

Overview We are a leading geotechnical consultancy offering a role for Geotechnical Engineers / Engineering Geologists to support our portfolio of prestigious projects in the UK and internationally. This role is based in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Belfast. Role & Expectations Successful applicant will be a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with a degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post‑graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.

You will hold or be close to holding chartered status. You will work as part of teams where your contributions matter, building strong, collaborative relationships on a diverse range of strategic projects across the infrastructure and energy sectors. Qualifications Good academic background with a degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post‑graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.

Understanding of ground investigation techniques and geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks. Experience using numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap etc. Chartered status or nearing Chartered status.

Experience working in a fast‑moving engineering consultancy environment. Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines. Excellent report‑writing skills with the ability to self‑check and produce accurate work.
