Geographic Information System Developer

GIS Developer with strong expertise in ArcPy and ArcGIS to develop, automate, and maintain geospatial workflows and applications.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with ArcPy and Python scripting
• Hands-on knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise Geodatabases
• Experience in GIS data management, spatial analysis, and geoprocessing
• Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and automation workflows

Experience with FME is an added advantageDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and JavaScript.
• Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and related libraries.
• Familiarity with web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs.
• Understanding of geospatial concepts and GIS systems.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to Micro front-end

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Design and implement responsive and dynamic web interfaces for GIS applications using ReactJS.

Integrate ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript to display maps, layers, and spatial data.

Develop user-friendly tools for map navigation, geocoding, and spatial analysis.

Optimize the performance of web applications for different devices and browsers.

Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive designs.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
