Job Details

• 6 week agency contract
• Up to $84.98 per hour AM rate, plus other shift penalties depending on your experience and level
• Commencing 24 September 2026
• Fully furnished housing provided at no cost
• Return travel provided
• Uniform provided
• Fantastic agency support throughout the contract

You will be based in Alice Springs Hospital which is a public hospital serving the Central Australia region.

The hospital has 209 beds and a 24 hour emergency department, providing the major trauma response centre for the region.

Medical West comprises 22 beds and has the ability to flex up to 24beds. MEW Caters for Acute and Chronic Diseases in Respiratory, Cardiac, Endocrine, Autoimmune and Aging.

There are four medical teams working in partnership with Nursing, Aboriginal Liaison and Allied Health. Clinical support includes a Nurse Educator Specialist, Nurse Specialist Management, Complex Case Co-ordinator and Ward Pharmacist.

The Location
You will be living in Alice Springs which is the hub of the Northern Territory! The perfect base to explore central Australia from.

Nestled between the East and West MacDonnell Ranges, ‘Alice’ is famous for its beautiful desert landscapes, colourful outback characters, opportunities for adventure and a strong Aboriginal culture.

To be eligible for this position you must:

• Be currently registered with AHPRA with no restrictions
• Have a minimum of 2 years General Medical RN experience
• Have all Nursing core competencies complete or the willingness to complete prior to your commencement
