Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Job Title: General Manager Reporting to: VP of Operations About Sloomoo Inc. Sloomoo Inc. is an interactive experience, based on slime and all things #satisfying. Founded in late 2019 by two best friends who found slime healing during difficult times, the mission of the company is to deliver joy.

Playing with slime taps into four of the five senses: it is visually mesmerizing; it smells delicious (Sloomoo slimes are hand‑made and scented); it offers soothing ASMR sounds; and it feels both relaxing and playful. The environment is made for digging in with your hands and getting off of your screens, whether you are a kid or a kid‑at‑heart. A finalist of Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Award, the design of Sloomoo is glossy, contemporary, and accessible.

There are five locations—New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles—with more on the way. Mission‑driven, the brand supports mental fitness through a partnership with the Goldie Hawn Foundation’s MindUP and is committed to neurodiverse inclusivity (the aim is for 10% of the workforce to be neurodiverse, including people who bring job coaches to work). Position Summary The General Manager will oversee all operations of their location.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategic and daily operations of Sloomoo Inc., leading a staff of 40+ on a daily basis to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests while simultaneously manufacturing thousands of tons of slime every year. You will lead the daily operation and management of Sloomoo Inc., creating an inclusive culture and a warm welcome for guests, volunteers, and staff. The General Manager will be confident in managing people, projects, and budgets, knowing when to delegate and when to take ownership.

They will bring a positive and empowering attitude to the team, ensuring delivery to a high standard across the site. They will work with a range of stakeholders and demonstrate flexibility and a proactive diplomatic approach to problem‑solving. The General Manager will take the lead on planning and delivery of work streams, keeping the COO informed and involved in key decision‑making.

Responsibilities Identify and engage with relevant influencers across multiple platforms to create brand partnerships and collaborations. Execute marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, reach, and engagement among target audiences.

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to innovate and enhance influencer marketing strategies. Full P&L responsibility. Develop and manage a multi‑million‑dollar budget, forecast, and profitability.

Manage floor manager, kitchen manager, retail store manager, security team, and staff. Manage procurement and inventory. Manage guest service.

Develop standard operating procedures. Ensure staff follow all standard operating procedures. Manage staffing agencies when necessary.

Maintain brand integrity throughout the experience. Operate a multi‑million‑dollar retail store, develop planograms, manage promotions, signage, product placement, etc. Develop and manage processes to create and roll out new slimes, slime products, improve productivity, and inventory control.

Provide leadership and line management to the Sloomoo Inc. team, ensuring resourcing is planned for new developments and staffing is managed across the site. Support all operational departments to review working practices regularly and seek improvements to reduce accident likelihood. Lead quarterly Health & Safety Committee meetings, attended by representatives of all departments.

Maximize guest admissions income from the forecast and work with senior management to set future forecasts and budgets. Control labor spend to ensure we hit and exceed targets. Manage P&L.

Provide a world‑class guest experience, evidenced by positive survey results. Provide an engaging and rewarding workplace with a competitive retention rate and proven promotion. Deliver and contribute to the evolution of the Sloomoo Brand.

Meet (and exceed) projected guest count and projections. Implement improvements for guest satisfaction, employee experience, and revenue growth. Data‑driven: use data to drive decision making for sales and production.

Complete accident/incident reports with documented follow‑through and resolution within 24 hours. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Preferred bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.

Experience in operational management within a guest‑facing operation. Budgetary and line‑management experience (essential). Ability to prioritize the needs of different departments.

Excellent time‑management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner with staff across the organization. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key consultants and contractors.
