Grand Prairie 2615 N Forum Drive Grand Prairie, TX 750527025, USA Job Overview As SITECH General Manager, you will set and achieve the company’s short‑ and long‑term strategic plans in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values. You will demonstrate strong strategic planning and tactical execution skills, with a passion for personal and team development that leads to successful outcomes for internal and external customers. SITECH delivers customer value through Sales, Product Support and Services, supporting technologies that enhance construction jobsite productivity and efficiency.
An intimate understanding of contractor and dealership operations, and the role of survey and machine guidance technologies is required. Essential Functions Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the use of SITECH’s Values‑Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes. Understand customer needs in construction technology and build value for customers.
Develop, promote, implement and monitor a long‑term collaborative strategic plan for the SITECH Division. Create and manage SITECH’s core operational processes in Sales, Product Support, and Services delivery. Hire, train, develop, evaluate and manage the human resources of SITECH to exceed productivity targets, demonstrate teamwork and deliver legendary customer service.
Allocate and control capital resources (facilities, inventories) to optimize return on net assets employed. Analyze and control expenditures to meet short‑ and long‑term company objectives in conformance with budgetary requirements. Work safely and adhere to all applicable safety policies and company procedures.
Perform other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong technical aptitude and application knowledge of construction survey theory, machine guidance systems, grade‑control technology across all platforms, and construction estimating and modeling techniques. Understanding of contractor operations and how survey, machine guidance, and jobsite technologies are used.
Demonstrated knowledge of dealership operations including Sales, Product Support, and Services delivery. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources. Critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to present formally to small and large groups. Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills. Strong data analytical skills.
Excellent self‑management, multi‑tasking and organizational skills. Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction site plans, professional journals, technical procedures, manuals, and software specifications.
Ability to understand the implications of new information for decision‑making. Knowledge and experience with economic and accounting principles and practices, including invoicing, credit management, financial markets, and analysis of financial data. Ability to perform quick and accurate mathematical computations.
Ability to work independently and effectively within a team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment emphasizing accuracy, timeliness and goal achievement. Strong listening and questioning skills to understand verbal and non‑verbal communication. Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sales Force, and Microsoft Dynamics.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of eight years of work‑related skill, knowledge or experience required. Supervisory Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching and development, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel Routinely out of the office, with overnight stays up to 20%. Valid driver’s license required. Working conditions primarily indoors in a professional office environment, with occasional outdoor exposure to temperature variations, damp/wet surfaces, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, high noise levels, dust, and fumes.
Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions. Physical Requirements Must perform all job duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities. Position involves extended periods in a stationary position with occasional movement within the office.
Must communicate accurately with others. Must routinely react to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and inspect work visually.
