Join to apply for the General Manager role at SavATree Overview Position Title: General Manager / Market Leader Location: Evanston, IL Salary: $90,000-$120,000 Per Year Incentives: Annual Bonus + Equity Responsibilities Responsible for the overall productivity and profitability of the market they service. Balance Safety, Quality, Productivity, Employee Engagement and Market Growth to achieve business goals in Sales, Customer Net Promoter Score, Employee Engagement, Profitability and Growth, including retention of current customers, addition of new customers and the expansion of Service Lines. Lead, coach, develop and engage the Sales team and support staff to achieve profitable, sustainable growth for the market. Work outside and visit properties to ensure the health and well-being of clients’ landscapes; mentor and manage the team. Develop sales targets, monitor performance, and carry out program guidelines to achieve customer satisfaction while meeting or exceeding budgets. Oversee operations to ensure maximum productivity and safety, manage fleet and branch resources, and ensure services are performed on time with high standards and regulatory compliance. Oversee administration of all paperwork and data entry, implement guidelines, and initiate process improvement sessions to continually improve processes and procedures. Qualifications Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experience Successful track record of selling residential and/or commercial services through a branch-based business Demonstrated people leadership skills, coaching, developing and retaining sales, office and hourly production team members Previous P&L and operations management experience High proficiency in analyzing data and drawing insights to inform business decisions ISA Certification (or willingness to obtain) Management experience in the tree care industry preferred Experience in day-to-day operations of a business, preferably in the tree care or landscape industries Business management knowledge of General Tree Care, Plant Health Care or Lawn Care preferred Why You Might Love Working Here Training opportunities and support for continuing education in the industry Collaborative environment with highly trained teams emphasizing quality and safety Opportunity to connect and collaborate with field experts Competitive salary and benefits, including health and dental, paid time off, vehicle program, bonus plan, and a matched 401(K) Essential A Valid U.S. Driver’s license Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
