KATSUMI is a modern Japanese restaurant featuring savory sushi, bold hot dishes, craft cocktails, and a seasonal sake and wine selection. Led by Michelin-starred chef Masaaki “Uchi” Uchino, the menu balances precision, creativity, and tradition in a dining experience that feels both refined and energetic. We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for growth in a creative and expanding restaurant group. Responsibilities: Manage daily FOH and BOH operations. Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent guest service.
Oversee scheduling, inventory, and financial performance (P&L, labor, and cost controls). Partner with ownership and chef to execute the restaurant’s vision. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a GM or AGM in a full-service restaurant (sushi/Japanese preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with budgeting, labor management, and driving profitability.
