Bagels, we bake bagels fresh daily since 1995. We are committed to work-life balance for our team. Our stores close at 2pm.

We are looking for a General Manager to join our team. Our General Managers oversee all aspects of the store with a etreat it like you own ite philosophy. What7s a day in the life of a bagel boss?

Our stores operate on a one-shift model. Leaders start as early as 4am to bake and open the store. You will ensure the store is audit-ready, catering/mobile/in-store orders are executed, and customers have an exceptional experience.

During breakfast and lunch rushes GMs float to where needed, manage breaks, and drive strong customer survey results. The doors close at 2pm and it usually takes 30–45 minutes to close and prep for the next day. Administrative tasks (schedule, ordering, inventory) are typically before everyone arrives or after everyone leaves.

Take the daily deposit to the bank to complete the day before dinner time. Training is provided for success with 5 weeks of onboarding. Responsibilities include managing operations, leading and developing the team, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of store operations with a ownership mindset. Open and manage daily bakery operations, including early baking and shift coverage. Ensure audit readiness and execution of catering, mobile, and in-store orders.

Maintain exceptional customer experience and meet customer survey targets. Assist with scheduling, deposits, inventory, and daily administrative tasks. Close the store and prepare for the next day; complete deposits in a timely manner.

Facilitate 5 weeks of training for new leaders and staff. Qualifications 1–3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting. Hands-on operator able to motivate and inspire the team.

Exposure to P&L analysis is valuable; must have proven strategies to achieve food cost goals and labor targets. Recruiting quality team members and developing internal talent is a key function. Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
