Key Responsibilities As the General Manager, you will oversee construction operations and lead cross‑functional teams to drive performance, profitability, and strategic growth.

Operational Leadership Oversee daily operations across construction, estimating, and project management functions to ensure alignment with company goals. Evaluate construction methods, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Project Oversight & Execution Participate in meetings to review project scope, specifications, and strategy.

Ensure project plans meet client expectations while maintaining efficiency and cost control throughout execution. Strategic Growth & Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand operations and increase profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to support long‑term growth.

Leadership & Team Development Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering leadership capabilities and succession readiness within the team. Promote a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure all safety programs are effectively implemented and adhered to across operations.

Oversee incident investigations, enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Qualifications Education & Experience Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in construction, including leadership roles with increasing responsibility. Experience overseeing construction operations, project management, and estimating functions.

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment utilization, and safety practices. Excellent computer skills – Word, Excel, and email. Exceptional leadership, management, and supervisory skills with the ability to drive team performance.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills with a relationship‑focused approach to leadership and business development. Decisive and proactive mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
