General Manager

CBM360TIV CHELLI is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all operational, financial, and strategic activities of its mining operations in Antofagasta. The role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth across the mining site.

Reporting To

Executive Board / Regional Director

Key Responsibilities

• Direct overall mining operations, production, and site management
• Develop and implement strategic business plans and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with Chilean mining regulations and safety standards
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control
• Lead cross-functional teams, fostering high-performance culture
• Maintain stakeholder relationships, including government, contractors, and investors

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mining, Engineering, or Business Management
• Professional certifications in mining management or operational excellence preferred

Experience

• Minimum 10 years in senior mining leadership roles
• Proven track record in managing large-scale mining operations

Technical Skills

• Mining operations planning and optimization
• Safety and regulatory compliance expertise
• Financial oversight and project management
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Languages

• Spanish – Mandatory
• English – Preferred for multinational coordination
