Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly driven General Manager to lead one of our restaurants and play a key role in the continued success of the Abbale group. The General Manager is fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, with a strong focus on: Guest experience and hospitality standards Team leadership, coaching, and development Accountability to systems, procedures, and performance Financial and operational discipline Building a healthy, professional, and high-performing culture This role requires an individual with a strong sense of ownership, proven restaurant leadership experience, and the ability to lead teams through structure, repetition, and example. The General Manager is essential to stabilizing operations today and preparing the business for future growth.

Key Responsibilities: Operations & Leadership Oversee and coordinate daily Front of the House operations Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure alignment between FOH and BOH Lead by example during service, maintaining strong floor presence Organize, participate in, and ensure the success of all shifts Guest Experience & Hospitality Deliver exceptional hospitality and customer service at all times Build repeat business by creating regular guests, positive reviews, and strong word-of-mouth Respond to guest feedback and complaints efficiently, professionally, and accurately Team Management & Development Monitor staff performance and provide clear, consistent feedback Coach and develop team members based on their strengths and business needs Train new and existing employees on service standards, procedures, and culture Foster a positive, respectful, and high-accountability work environment Standards, Systems & Compliance Ensure compliance with all sanitation, safety, and labor regulations Enforce and continuously improve established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain restaurant image, cleanliness, ambiance, and overall vibe Identify opportunities to improve daily operations and guest experience Policies & Brand Representation Implement and uphold company policies and operational protocols Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring Abbale’s values are consistently represented Support long-term planning focused on stability, sustainability, and growth Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Hospitality Manager Strong background in customer service leadership Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to recall ingredients, dishes, and standards Familiarity with restaurant management systems (POS, scheduling, inventory, etc.) Excellent communication, leadership, and people-management skills Strong coaching and motivational ability High sense of urgency and accountability Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure #J-18808-Ljbffr
