GCP Data Engineer

Job Title - GCP Data Engineer Experience - 5+ Years Location - Chennai Notice Period - Immediate to 30 Days About the Role You'll design and build scalable data pipelines on GCP, working on data migration, ingestion, and transformation across large-scale systems. You'll partner with data architects, analysts, and ML engineers to deliver reliable data infrastructure that powers business and AI workloads. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and Spark - Design and optimize data models and queries in BigQuery - Implement streaming pipelines using Kafka and Pub/Sub - Lead data migration, ingestion, and transformation initiatives - Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance at scale Required Qualifications - ~5 years of hands-on data engineering experience - Strong expertise in GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Dataflow) - Production experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration - Solid Spark skills for batch and streaming data processing - Experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub for real-time pipelines - Proven track record with data migration and ETL/ELT projects - Strong SQL and Python skills
