Position Details Position Title: Senior Consultant - Government Advisory - Data Analytics Number of Positions: 01 Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Reporting To: Senior Consultant / Engagement Manager Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 10+ Years Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related disciplines may apply for this position. Master's Degree (Preferred/Advantageous): Candidates with a Master's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, MBA, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related disciplines will be preferred. Additional preference will be given to candidates possessing: Certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or advanced Excel / SQL / Python.

Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools. Knowledge of government data systems, dashboards, and MIS frameworks. Membership of recognised professional bodies and institutions.

Specialized qualifications in predictive analytics, AI/ML, or data governance Relevant Work Experience Candidates with 10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data-driven decision support, government reporting systems, MIS design, analytics consulting, or large-scale public sector analytics projects are eligible to apply for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in: Government analytics and MIS design. Data modelling and dashboard development.

Performance monitoring and reporting. Policy and programme analytics. Data governance and data quality improvement.

Business intelligence and decision support. Public sector digital reporting systems. Statistical analysis and insight generation Experience across government, consulting, development organisations, or analytics-driven transformation projects will be an added advantage.

Role Overview The Senior Consultant - Government Advisory - Data Analytics will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across government analytics, data interpretation, reporting systems, and evidence-based decision-making assignments. The role requires strong analytical capability, data literacy, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for government and institutional stakeholders. The selected candidate will support projects involving MIS frameworks, dashboard development, data strategy, monitoring and evaluation, policy analytics, and performance improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities Data Analytics & Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership on data analytics assignments involving data interpretation, insights generation, dashboarding, and analytics strategy. MIS & Dashboard Development Support the design and development of MIS reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance tracking systems for government and public sector use. Data Cleaning, Validation & Governance Review datasets for quality, consistency, completeness, and accuracy.

Support data governance processes and validation frameworks to improve trust in reporting. Statistical Analysis & Insight Generation Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and trend analysis to identify patterns, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities in programmes, operations, and service delivery. Policy & Government Advisory Support government departments and public institutions with data-driven policy analysis, programme evaluation, evidence synthesis, and strategic decision support.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Assist in defining KPIs, monitoring frameworks, performance indicators, and reporting structures for projects, schemes, and institutional initiatives. Automation & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline data workflows, and improve efficiency in recurring data and analytics processes. Stakeholder Engagement Engage with government officials, programme teams, technical consultants, and implementation partners to understand data needs and reporting requirements.

Capacity Building & Knowledge Transfer Design and deliver training sessions, documentation, and workshops on analytics tools, dashboard usage, reporting processes, and data interpretation. Data Reporting & Presentation Prepare and review analytical reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries for decision-makers and stakeholders. Field and Implementation Support Support field validation, data collection reviews, implementation monitoring, and site-based assessments where required.

Additional Project Responsibilities Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Engagement Manager or Senior Leadership in alignment with project requirements and organisational priorities. Skills Data Analytics : Strong ability to analyse large datasets, identify patterns, and develop actionable insights. MIS & Reporting : Experience in designing and managing management information systems, reporting templates, and dashboards.

Data Visualization : Proficiency in building dashboards and visual outputs for decision support statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical methods, trend analysis, and performance interpretation. Technical Advisory : Ability to translate analytical findings into practical recommendations for government and institutional stakeholders. Technical Report Writing : Strong capability in preparing data briefs, reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.

Stakeholder Management : Ability to engage effectively with government officials, analysts, consultants, and implementation teams Competencies Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret data in a policy and governance context and identify practical solutions. Analytical Excellence: Strong capability to analyse datasets, indicators, and trends for informed decision-making. Problem Solving: Ability to identify data gaps, reporting issues, and performance bottlenecks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Leadership & Team Collaboration: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively across technical and advisory environments. Preference will also be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise in dashboarding, data visualization, performance monitoring, data governance, and analytics-led transformation initiatives. Travel & Mobility Requirements Willingness to travel extensively across project locations within Rajasthan and other states. Ability to undertake site visits, stakeholder consultations, project reviews, and field assessments.
