Experis is recruiting a Fund Accountant (m/f) to join the structure of a leading private equity multinational company. This is a full-time job with a hybrid regime, based in Lisbon.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly and quarterly reviews of financial information provided by fund administrators, analysing movements and challenging items that fall outside expectations;
  • Prepare quarterly investor reporting in collaboration with the Finance, Investor Relations and Administration teams;
  • Prepare quarterly Management Information reporting for senior management and the Board;
  • Support the year-end financial reporting process for the funds, including reviewing financial statements and managing the audit process;
  • Prepare financial narratives and supporting information for external reporting;
  • Support the Valuations function and work closely with investment professionals to report on portfolio company performance;
  • Respond to investor information requests, working closely with the Investor Relations team to provide analysis and supporting information;
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams, including setting timelines, coordinating stakeholders, tracking deliverables and proactively escalating issues or delays;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, identifying opportunities for automation and the appropriate use of AI tools;
  • Support the annual audit process and respond to auditor queries;
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Finance, Investor Relations and Investment teams as required.


Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance or a related field;
  • Qualified Accountant, with Big 4 experience being highly valued;
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting under IFRS, US GAAP or Lux GAAP;
  • Experience within Financial Services, preferably Private Equity, Asset Management or a similar environment, will be considered an advantage;
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and workstreams from planning through to completion;
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage deliverables independently;
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Proactive mindset towards process improvement, automation and the use of AI tools;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to London and Luxembourg.
