Functional Consultant / Business Analyst Reports to : Professional Services Manager Location : 100% Remote (U.S. residents only) Compensation : $80,000 - $120,000 Base salary, commensurate with experience. Eligible for company commission plan. Position Summary Responsible for gathering and analyzing client requirements and performing system configuration to build applications using our SaaS low‑code application platform builder to meet client needs.

The role is crucial in identifying and documenting business requirements, analyzing processes, and configuring solutions to enable efficient achievement of organizational goals. A typical day involves meeting with clients, facilitating workshops to understand their business and challenges, outlining functional solutions, and leveraging low‑code platform building blocks to create the solution. Success requires analytical and technical thinking, clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and a willingness to expand skillsets with new technology.

The role heavily involves point‑and‑click creation of new workflows, data objects, actions, and pages. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements analysis by collaborating with client stakeholders, leading workshops to understand business needs, and documenting requirements. Translate business requirements into well‑architected solutions with solution developers.

Develop detailed technical solution documentation, including process flowcharts, diagrams, and user guides. Participate in or lead technical design sessions with development teams. Create, update, configure, and maintain business applications on the low‑code platform.

Ensure production changes follow lifecycle methodology, version control, testing, and risk guidelines. Stay informed of new technologies, platform capabilities, industry standards, and best practices. Facilitate working sessions with clients to gain feedback and resolve technical issues during review and testing.

Lead end‑user and administrator training sessions. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing, guiding end users and resolving reported issues. Troubleshoot and debug system errors, implementing solutions to resolve them.

Travel domestically up to 10% as needed. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Required Demonstrated experience leading requirement analysis activities, documenting functional requirements, and maintaining traceability to test cases.

Experience leveraging an in‑depth understanding of software capabilities to address business challenges. Understanding of enterprise software and database structures. Knowledge of software development and deployment methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and related tools (Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, PlanView, Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, TFS, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess client business needs. Ability to analyze technical options and formulate recommendations. Orientation to solutions primarily through configuration, with customization as needed.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clearly conveying technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Exceptional attention to detail; strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Comfortable working under pressure or strict deadlines. Self‑starter with high integrity and professionalism.

Passion for learning and personal growth, focused on technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Our Wish List Prior experience in a technical consulting role implementing commercially available SaaS solutions (certifications or experience with Salesforce, Appian, or ServiceNow is a plus).

Experience with low‑code platforms and workflow automation (MS Power Apps/Logic Apps is a plus). Experience working with APIs (REST/Graph) preferred. Ability to use mockup tools such as Figma, PowerPoint, etc. to explain design approaches.
