You’ll play a key role in a variety of missions, from software development and legacy system modernization to strategic digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and data-driven solutions.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of project success, serving as a vital link between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Thanks to your ease in navigating conversations with clients, developers, and business experts, you’ll turn complex needs into practical solutions and promote smooth collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Gather user requirements;

Contribute to the functional analysis by producing preliminary, functional, and technical documentation;

Analyze issues and propose potential solutions;

Collaborate on prototype development to help define the client experience;

Participate in sprints by supporting the development team and validating user stories;

Write, document, and execute functional test scenarios, and validate results;

Participate in integrated testing and prepare test data;

Provide post-implementation support and assist users during acceptance testing.

Keys to your success

  • 8 years of experience as a functional analyst;
  • Proven experience with the Scrum framework;
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio, as well as REST APIs;
  • Experience reading and writing beginner- to intermediate-level SQL queries (joins, aggregation, subqueries);
  • Experience validating data models, integration flows, and data migration strategies;
  • Knowledge of relational database models (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB);
  • Ability to manage multiple complex files simultaneously, involving business, development, infrastructure, and security aspects, with rigor and attention to detail;
  • Understanding of distributed architectures, as well as compliance, governance, and risk management concepts;
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with SAFe, Azure DevOps, Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, and Bizzdesign;
  • Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or other business sectors;
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT principles, data pipelines, and data governance.

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
