Fullstack Cloud Developer

Responsibilities As a Fullstack Cloud Developer, you will join one of many Storm Reply AWS Cloud projects and contribute to the development of modern, scalable cloud-native applications for our automotive clients. You will design and develop modern web applications, primarily using React, with a strong focus on maintainability, performance, and user experience. You will develop serverless backend solutions on AWS, working with services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and EventBridge to build scalable and event-driven architectures.

You will be involved in the complete application development lifecycle, including technical analysis and design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. You will use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud resources, preferably with AWS CDK or alternatively Terraform. You will make active use of AI-assisted development tools, such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot, as part of your daily development workflow to improve productivity and code quality.

You will continuously grow your knowledge and skills in AWS, modern web development, serverless architectures, and AI-assisted software engineering to advance your professional career and strengthen our AWS practice. Qualifications 2–3 years of professional experience in software or cloud development. Solid experience with React or comparable modern web frameworks.

Good knowledge of TypeScript; experience with Node.js is a plus. Strong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless technologies, particularly Lambda and API Gateway. Experience designing or working with event-driven architectures, for example using Amazon EventBridge.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK; experience with Terraform is also valuable. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot, and willingness to integrate agentic coding into daily development activities. Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Very good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
