We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Development Architect to join our team supporting enterprise financial services solutions. This role requires a strong technical leader with expertise in Python, AWS cloud technologies, data platforms, API development, and modern full-stack architecture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within financial services, preferably Investment Banking, with strong knowledge of Treasury systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise application development. The candidate will be responsible for designing robust solutions, guiding development teams, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions under tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do?

Design and define scalable full-stack application architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.

Lead the development and delivery of enterprise applications using Python and modern software development practices.

Design and develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using REST API frameworks.

Architect cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services including EC2, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.

Develop and optimize data solutions using AWS Snowflake and PostgreSQL RDS.

Create and review advanced SQL solutions for complex data processing and analytics requirements.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to define technical solutions.

Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Support application modernization initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, security requirements, and best practices.

Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design decisions.

Deliver solutions within challenging timelines while maintaining quality and reliability.

What You Need?

Experience:

10+ years of professional experience in software development, architecture, and financial services environments.

Industry Experience:

Strong experience within Financial Services, preferably Investment Banking.

Experience with Treasury systems or Treasury-related solutions is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in Python development and enterprise application architecture.

Extensive experience designing and developing REST APIs.

Advanced SQL skills with experience handling complex data models and database optimization.

Strong experience with AWS Snowflake and PostgreSQL RDS.

Hands-on experience with AWS services including:

• EC2
• Lambda
• Secrets Manager

Experience with cloud-based application architecture and enterprise integration patterns.

Exposure to frontend development technologies such as React is advantageous.

Exposure to FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks is advantageous.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related technical fields.

Soft Skills:

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Strong leadership mindset with the ability to influence architecture decisions.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams in high-pressure environments.

Strong decision-making skills and ability to deliver solutions within strict deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience designing solutions for Investment Banking or Treasury platforms.

Experience leading architecture discussions and mentoring development teams.

Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.

Experience building scalable enterprise applications using modern full-stack technologies.

Due to the strategic nature of this position, preference will be given to candidates with strong financial services experience, proven architecture expertise, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical leadership, hands-on development capability, and experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
