FT - Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist - Full Time $20,000 SIGN ON - RETENTION BONUS Schedule: 8a-6pm The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, interpreting the findings, developing an appropriate plan of care, and delivering quality care to help patients attain maximum functional level. Demonstrates critical thinking to assure the delivery of safe, quality care to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients Primary Job Responsibilities: Evaluate patients, develop and implement effective care plans, and adjust as needed to support recovery and functional progress. Provide quality care, assessing progress and making clinical adjustments to meet patient needs.

Use department-specific EMR for evidence-based functional measures in care plans. Treat orthopedic and neurological patients with expertise. Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.

Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, care plans, and goals. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Ohio Occupational Therapist license. Flexible schedule availability.
