Front Desk Assistant – Surf School

About the Role

Lisbon Surf Camp is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Front Desk Assistant to join our team in Carcavelos.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding customer experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our surf school.

This is a dynamic position combining customer service, front desk responsibilities and operational support in a fast-paced beach environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and manage daily check-ins.
• Open and close the surf school.
• Handle surf lesson bookings and equipment rentals.
• Respond to phone calls, emails and WhatsApp enquiries.
• Coordinate daily schedules with surf instructors.
• Process payments and issue invoices.
• Keep the reception area organised and welcoming.
• Support the Operations Manager with administrative tasks.
• Ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Fluent Portuguese and English (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and booking systems.
• Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work weekends during the high season.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or tourism is preferred.
