Freight Pricing Analyst (Atlanta)

Freight Pricing Analyst | Atlanta, GA | Salary up to $65,000 This role is responsible for developing competitive pricing strategies, analyzing freight costs, and supporting the sales team with accurate and timely rate quotations. The ideal candidate must have strong data analysis skills, freight industry experience and knowledge plus the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Benefits Competitive salary up to $65,000 Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Key Responsibilities Analyze and develop pricing for international air, ocean, and ground freight services Prepare and deliver accurate rate quotations in response to RFQs (Requests for Quotation) Maintain and update carrier rate databases and pricing tools Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to negotiate competitive rates Monitor market trends, capacity, and fuel surcharges to ensure pricing accuracy Support sales and business development teams with pricing strategies and insights Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping regulations Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or pricing/analyst roles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) Familiarity with freight rate structures and Incoterms is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
