Freelance SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant (PP/QM/PM) – Life Sciences / Pharma

Job Description We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with strong expertise in PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance) modules for a pharmaceutical/life sciences environment. The ideal consultant should have hands-on experience supporting GMP-regulated manufacturing operations and strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations, validation processes, batch management, and quality compliance. Key Responsibilities Configure and support SAP S/4HANA PP, QM, and PM modules Handle Production Planning, Process Orders, MRP, BOMs, Routings, and Capacity Planning Manage Quality processes including Inspection Plans, MIC, Quality Notifications, CAPA, and Batch Release Support Plant Maintenance processes including Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, Equipment Master, and Maintenance Orders Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, GAMP 5, and CSV requirements Work closely with Manufacturing, QA, Maintenance, and Supply Chain stakeholders Participate in SIT, UAT, validation activities, and documentation Develop user training materials and support Fiori-based business processes Support integrated SAP processes across PP/QM/PM/MM/CO modules Mandatory Skills SAP S/4HANA PP SAP QM SAP PM GMP / GxP Compliance Computer System Validation (CSV) FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Batch Management Preventive Maintenance Calibration Process Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Industry Experience Preferred Experience SAP S/4HANA rollout or implementation projects Serialization knowledge Fiori applications Recipe Management Production process mapping Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Life Sciences, or related field 5–8 years of relevant SAP functional consulting experience Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
