Job Description
We are a team racing in the F4, FIA F3 and FIA F2 categories. We are seeking skilled #1 and #2 Mechanics to join our single-seater motorsport team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work at the cutting edge of motorsport technology, ensuring our race cars perform at peak levels on and off the track.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Mechanic within our single-seater motorsport program, you will be responsible for the build, maintenance, and race-day preparation of our race vehicles. You will work closely with engineers and the wider technical team to ensure the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety are met at every event.
This is a highly team-oriented role. We are looking for someone who consistently puts the interests and success of the team above personal convenience, supports colleagues proactively and is prepared to step beyond the normal boundaries of their individual responsibilities whenever required to help the team achieve its objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
#1 Mechanic
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the car team of mechanics and supervise the car build, maintenance and setup tasks
- Build, maintain, and repair single-seater race cars to meet strict performance and safety standards
- Gearbox service, rebuild and setup
- Prepare cars for practice, qualifying, and races, ensuring optimal setup and reliability
- Car setup and flat patch supervision
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to implement car setup changes and performance upgrades
- Conduct thorough post-race inspections and manage component wear tracking
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and technical specifications
- Travel to race events, both domestic and international, providing on-site mechanical support
- Ensure compliance with motorsport governing body regulations and safety protocols
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in this position or in the same or higher-level motorsport series
- Strong understanding of race car systems including engines, gearboxes, suspension, and brakes
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively for race events, including weekends and international trips
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Commitment to perfection in doing your job, proactivity, and the highest attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills within a fast-paced racing environment
- Good level of spoken English
- Excellent discipline and strict adherence to the team's working procedures
- A strong team-first mentality, with a clear commitment to putting the interests and objectives of the team ahead of individual preferences
- Proven ability to work cooperatively, respectfully and constructively with mechanics, engineers and other team staff
- A proactive and supportive attitude, including the willingness to help teammates without waiting to be asked
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake reasonable duties beyond the normal scope of the role when necessary for the successful operation of the team
- Willingness to accept additional responsibility and workload during demanding race-event periods
- Reliability and the ability to contribute positively even when the work required is difficult, repetitive or outside the most visible aspects of the role
#2 MECHANIC
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and repair single-seater race cars to meet strict performance and safety standards
- Bodywork setup, maintenance and repair
- Brakes service
- Wheel and tire management - tire pressure setup
- Looms and electrical maintenance
- Prepare cars for practice, qualifying, and races, ensuring optimal setup and reliability
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to implement car setup changes and performance upgrades
- Conduct thorough post-race inspections and manage component wear tracking
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and technical specifications
- Travel to race events, both domestic and international, providing on-site mechanical support
- Ensure compliance with motorsport governing body regulations and safety protocols

- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on mechanical experience within motorsport, ideally single-seater categories

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of working with a professional racing team or motorsport series
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency with precision hand tools and specialized motorsport equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Skilled in fabrication and machining techniques relevant to motorsport applications
