About the opportunity:
We're looking for a hands‑on Forklift Technician to join our growing service team based at Gibson Island. In this field-based role, you'll maintain, repair and service a diverse fleet of forklifts, EWPs and mobile plant equipment across Visy sites throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
- Monday to Friday roster with overtime opportunities
- Vehicle + mobile phone supplied
What you'll do:
- Service, repair and maintain forklifts, EWPs and mobile plant equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance
- Complete service reports and accurately record parts usage
- Maintain high safety standards across all work activities
- Travel between Visy sites across Brisbane and the Gold Coast as required
What You Will Bring:
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Hands‑on experience with forklifts, EWPs and/or mobile plant equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a field service environment
- Current driver’s licence
