We are looking for managers with experience in a high-volume, high-energy setting. A high level of food and beverage knowledge is a must. A floor manager is responsible for helping the restaurant meet service, sales, and profit objectives along with supervising and directing associates in daily work activities. As a floor manager, one must assist the general manager with ensuring proper training of new team mates, formulating work schedules, and maintaining good customer and public relations within the community. The floor manager maintains proper inventories, ensures compliance with cash control procedures, and completes related accounting and administrative reports as required. A floor manager may serve in any capacity within the restaurant as needed due to associate absence and perform related duties and assignments as required. • At least two (2) years of experience in a restaurant management capacity at a fine dining or high volume establishment. • The ability to work in a fast paced environment and quickly solve problems. • Exceptional multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. • The ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with guests. • Excellent management and interpersonal skills. • Ability to stand and walk during the entirety of the shift. • Food service and Bassett certificates must be current at time of hire.
