Fire and Security Project Manager

Job Title: Fire & Security Project Manager Location: Cardiff Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of fire & security installation projects from order through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and to a high technical standard. What you’ll be doing: Managing projects from initial order through to completion Coordinating engineering teams and subcontractors Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and preparing RAMS Producing O&M manuals, certificates, and project documentation Managing labour schedules to meet tight deadlines Procuring equipment and materials for projects Pricing and coordinating additional works within live projects Attending meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining client communication Liaising with directors, management, and engineering teams Driving customer satisfaction and project delivery standards What we’re looking for: Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems (essential) Experience with security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms) (essential) Understanding of IP-based systems (desirable) Experience with complex fire alarm design (cause & effect / networking) (desirable) Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (essential) Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously Full UK driving licence (essential) Desirable qualifications: FIA fire design or equivalent industry qualifications What’s on offer: £40,000 – £45,000 salary Company car Company pension Additional leave Company events Long-term career opportunity in a growing technical environment
