Financial Reporting Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a high-performing EMEA finance function within a globally recognised professional services organisation. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement across multiple jurisdictions.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and deliver month-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reporting to tight global deadlines.
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation across UK and international entities.
• Support external audit processes and ensure timely, compliant filings.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Take ownership of VAT returns and wider tax compliance requirements.
• Partner with internal teams and external advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 3-5 years PQE.
• Background in audit or financial reporting, ideally within professional services or a complex multi-entity environment.
• Strong experience in statutory accounts, VAT, and financial compliance.
• Exposure to international operations and multi-currency environments.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
• A proactive, "can-do" approach with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
