Financial Reporting Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of financial, statutory and management reporting. The role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain a robust control environment, support audit activities and drive continuous improvements across reporting processes.

Your new role

• Lead, develop and mentor a small Financial Reporting team.


• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.


• Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting packs.


• Coordinate the production of statutory accounts in line with IFRS and/or UK GAAP.


• Ensure balance sheet integrity through review of reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.


• Act as the key contact for external and internal auditors.


• Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes.


• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support senior management decision-making.


• Drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies.


• Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.


• Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience.


• Previous experience managing month-end and year-end reporting cycles.


• Experience leading or supervising a small finance team.


• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems.


• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
