Job Description

*Job Title :Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant / Solutions Architect* Location: Remote Experience -6 to 8 years Description 4 hours overlapping with US time. About the role We partner with US-based consulting firms and their enterprise clients to deliver Workday Adaptive Planning solutions, and we're building a bench of client-ready Adaptive professionals for upcoming implementation, enhancement, and support engagements. This is remote, contract and project-based work, with strong potential for ongoing engagements as the pipeline grows.

You'll work directly with finance teams, so you need to be comfortable owning both the build and the conversation. What you'll do - Deliver full life-cycle Workday Adaptive Planning implementations: discovery, model design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. - Architect the model: modeled, cube, and standard sheets, dimensions, levels, versions, assumptions, accounts, and the formula and calculation logic that holds it together. - Support budgeting, forecasting, planning, and the financial close cycle. - Build financial and management reporting, dashboards, and matrix reports, and develop and support OfficeConnect. - Design and troubleshoot integrations with ERP, payroll, HRIS, CRM, and data warehouse systems: data loading, mapping, validation, and reconciliation. - Configure security, workflow, process tracking, and administration. - Take over and improve environments built by other teams, and advise clients on best practice. What you need - 6+ years hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning (configuration, administration, and model build), with at least one full implementation you can walk through in detail. - Solid FP&A domain knowledge: budgeting, forecasting, financial close, and management reporting.

You understand how finance teams actually work, not just the tool. - Strong grasp of multidimensional modeling and Adaptive formulas and calculated accounts. - OfficeConnect development and support. - Integration and data skills: SQL required, Python a strong plus. - Excellent spoken and written English, and the confidence to run client-facing requirements and advisory conversations. - Reliable availability with meaningful overlap of US business hours (Eastern or Central) for client calls. Nice to have - Workday Adaptive Planning certification. - A background in finance, treasury, or accounting. - Experience implementing Adaptive from the ground up, and rescuing poorly-architected environments. - Exposure to other EPM tools (Hyperion, Planful, OneStream) or BI platforms. Engagement - Remote, India-based.

Contract and project-based, with potential to grow into ongoing work. - Rate is competitive and commensurate with real Adaptive experience. To apply, tell us briefly and specifically: 1. The Workday Adaptive implementations you've delivered: your role, the model scope, and the integrations involved. 2.

One OfficeConnect or reporting build you're proud of. 3. A time you took over a messy Adaptive environment: what you found and how you fixed it. 4. Your availability, US-hours overlap, and your rate.
