Summary Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position reports to the Manager, FP&A and is based in Vancouver.

What your team does The FP&A team drives stakeholder and shareholder value by developing operating and financial plans. You will help the business grow, support customers, and improve operations. Your role collaborates with senior leaders across Finance, Legal, People, and Business Operations to develop investment strategy, assess outcomes, and iterate resource deployment for effectiveness.

Responsibilities Consolidate financial results across FP&A functions, delivering month‑end reporting and rolling forecast analysis to support data‑driven decision‑making and strategic planning. Build and maintain robust financial models, incorporating actuals and performing variance analysis to identify, communicate, and forecast key performance drivers. Review and approve G&A purchase requests and procurement workflows through Coupa Design.

Monitor and refine KPIs to track business performance, identify emerging trends, and surface growth opportunities in partnership with operational leaders. Validate and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial information used for planning and reporting. Champion data cleanliness and maintain source‑of‑truth reporting standards across all financial outputs.

Design and maintain financial dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into G&A spend, headcount, and key operational metrics to support leadership decision‑making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 3+ years of Financial Planning or Business Analyst experience.

Proven experience in Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or finance within a high‑growth, SaaS‑driven environment. Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis skills. Strong analytical mindset and ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication, leadership, and inter‑personal skills; ability to collaborate and influence cross‑functional teams. Proficiency with financial systems and tools (Excel, Google Docs, Pigment, or similar). Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Benefits and Compensation Compensation includes a competitive, equitable salary within the range of $79,100 to $106,900 CAD, along with top‑tier health, dental, and vision insurance. The role offers a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being in office at least twice a week, flexible time‑off policy with 20 days encouraged per year, a $2,000 annual counseling benefit, RRSP matching and RESP contributions, and a Clioversary recognition program at 3, 5, 7, and 10 years. Salary bands are tailored to regional markets; the final offer depends on geographic region, experience, and skill set.
