Job Description
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in expense reporting, expense analysis, and budget development for Workplace Benefits & Retirement, Canada Operations & Business Enablement and Bengaluru Operations. This position involves performing analysis, tracking data and development of applications, reports, worksheets, and procedures to support these processes. What you will do Analyze, report, and investigate expense variances and forecast results based on findings Maintain and manage all expense analysis and reporting worksheets Development and maintenance of budget tools Financial reporting and reconciliations (on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis) Correspond effectively with various stakeholders Ensure all processes and procedures are accurately documented and updated in real time Assist in ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned What you will bring Completion of post secondary education, specializing in Accounting/Finance, such as Business Administration or B.
Comm Completion of/or working toward a professional accounting designation 3+ years of financial analysis experience 1+ years of experience creating, modifying, and maintaining financial models Ability to work independently and in a team environment Self-motivated individual with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to identify issues/opportunities and conceive solutions Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the team and other audiences across business divisions Well developed organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and fluctuating workloads Strong technical skills in Excel are required Experience with SAP is preferred Ability to excel within a purpose/vision driven environment The base salary for this position is between $60,000 - $89,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
