Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst - Sales to support the continued growth of our organization. This role will serve as a critical business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams by providing data‑driven insights, maintaining pricing integrity within our ERP system, and developing reporting and dashboards that drive profitable growth.

The successful candidate will own the administration and maintenance of customer pricing within our ERP platform, provide customer and brand performance reporting, support innovation and product launches, and contribute to ERP optimization initiatives. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys working cross‑functionally and translating data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner of customer pricing and sales price maintenance within the ERP system.
  • Ensure accurate setup, validation, and ongoing management of customer pricing, trade agreements, promotions, and rebates.
  • Monitor pricing compliance and investigate pricing discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Sales teams to ensure pricing changes are implemented accurately and on time.
  • Support ERP master data governance related to customers, products, pricing, and sales hierarchies.
  • Participate in ERP enhancement projects, testing, process improvements, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain recurring customer, channel, brand and product performance reports.
  • Analyze sales volume, revenue, gross margin, pricing, and profitability trends.
  • Analyze and report on trade spend.
  • Provide actionable insights regarding customer performance, pricing realization, promotional effectiveness, and product mix.
  • Support monthly business reviews by delivering timely and accurate commercial reporting.
  • Design, develop, and maintain revenue, margin, and sales performance dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Report on KPIs and scorecards to monitor business performance against budgets and targets.
  • Ensure consistency of data across ERP, reporting, and dashboarding platforms.

Innovation & New Product Launch Support

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams on innovation initiatives and new product introductions.
  • Support financial and commercial analysis for product launches, customer onboarding, and promotional programs.
  • Coordinate SKU setup and master data requirements for new product introductions within the ERP system.
  • Assist in forecasting and post‑launch performance tracking of innovation projects.

Business Partnership & Decision Support

  • Work closely with Sales leadership to identify growth opportunities and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses related to customers, brands, pricing, promotions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support annual budget and forecasting processes by providing sales and margin analytics.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance commercial decision‑making and reporting capabilities.

Recipe For Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Commercial Finance, Revenue Management, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
  • Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, or Retail environment preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAGE or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of pricing management, sales reporting, and profitability analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experienc e with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Strong ERP system knowledge and data management experience.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data extraction tools is considered an asset.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.
