Position Summary
As a Financial Analyst III in the Research Financial Services department, major responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing UHN’s financial reporting for government grants with matched reporting
- Performing analyses on a regular basis for a range of functional centre accounts to identify issues and prioritize workload
- Analyzing grants for financial sustainability, compliance issues, projecting deficits and surpluses and making recommendations to Principal Investigators (the grant holders)
- Building relationships with Principal Investigators and their teams to help facilitate good communication, including answering financial queries, addressing concerns, communicating fiscal requirements
- Preparing and posting journal entries as required
