Financial Accountant- Dublin 9 11 month contract view to permanency This role will support the will support the Financial Planning Manager in delivering thebudgeting, financial planning, management accounting, and reporting activities for the group. The role involves preparing financial reports, managing month-end accounting processes, analysing financial data, supporting decision-making, and ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
• Produce and review monthly, annual, and period-end financial reports.
• Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries.
• Analyse financial information and provide management insights.
• Support finance transformation projects and management information system improvements.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Support other finance and financial planning activities as needed.

Essential Requirements

• Degree qualification (NFQ Level 7 or equivalent).
• Professional accounting qualification or finalist.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A qualified accountant with experience in budgeting, management accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis who can work collaboratively with stakeholders, provide meaningful financial insights, and contribute to improving finance processes and system.
