Finance Manager/Cash Manager

Our Global Consumer Goods client in the Red Bank, NJ area is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee A/P and support the Controller and Finance Director in all cash management matters.

This is a full time onsite position with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.

Required:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in accounting/finance/cash management/full cycle accounting
• Experience in wholesale distribution, retail sales, and/or CPG industries
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite
• Experience with Acumatica, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or related accounting/ERP programs, Merchandising ERP a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance -
• Team leadership experience preferred.

The main responsibilities include:

• Implementing and enabling proper financial and cash management processes and controls
• Ensuring compliance with Company policies
• Driving continuous process improvement with a focus on automation and use of AI
• Calculation of daily cash and borrowing availability, making borrowing and making pay-back decisions
• Understanding and assuring compliance with credit agreements, as well as monitoring relevant government
• Participate in month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, overseeing and recording journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
• Oversee and prepare various balance sheet recs, maintaining relevant support in audit-ready fashion.
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on actions needed

Target Salary- to 120k
