  • Managing special projects and helping improve the scalability of the accounting function
  • Providing coaching, feedback, training, and career development for team members

Ideal Background

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA, CFA, CMA, MAcc / MSA, MBA, or other advanced certification strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior team leadership or people management experience required
  • Public accounting and/or large corporate accounting experience preferred
  • Strong GAAP knowledge
  • Month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting operations experience
  • Strong Excel and systems aptitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $120,000 to $140,000
  • Target bonus: 15-25%
  • PTO: 25 days
  • Paid holidays: 12
  • 401(k): 7% company match
  • Strong long-term growth potential within the organization

Work Arrangement

Preference is for someone who is comfortable being onsite in Cincinnati. The company is also open to a hybrid schedule of approximately 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to join a stable, well-established organization with strong leadership, meaningful scope, and room to grow.
