Finance Business Partner

Our client is a large, well-known, and successful Irish business headquartered in North Dublin. They are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis as Finance Business Partner, in a role that offers genuine commercial exposure to senior operational leaders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a commercial role, partnering with non-finance departments and operations leadership across the business, with real influence on performance and profitability. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Business partnering with senior commercial and operational stakeholders;
• Delivering weekly and periodic performance reporting with insightful analysis;
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes across the business;
• Providing commercial finance input into business plans, cost management, and capital expenditure;
• Reviewing financial reporting and strengthening financial controls;
• Contributing to finance transformation and automation initiatives.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 1 to 4+ years' experience in a similar industry role;
• Strong problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset;
• Excellent communication and influencing skills;
• High attention to detail with a strong systems focus;
• Experience in FMCG, or another multi-site environment an advantage;
• A self-starter, with advanced Excel skills.
