Field Services Engineer

As the Field Service Engineer your prime objective is preventative maintenance for customers and a timely response for breakdowns. You will provide quality support and service for customers, using your excellent customer skills, you will build professional relationships with a wide range of customers within the industry

Role Overview:

The incumbent will report to the Service Manager for South Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day field operations including planning of service visits, preventive maintenance visits.
2. Act as an essential interface between end-users and internal support function by providing timely onsite technical assistance to customers.
3. CMC/AMC revenue generation as per the revenue assigned.
4. Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain devices covering North region.
5. Identify the problems and provide technical support to customers.
6. Manage the Service Territory including distributor’s service FSE.
7. Respond to service requests and ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Maintain up to date customer information, technical files and appropriate databases.
9. Provide timely and accurate reports as required from SFDC.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Biomedical is preferred.
• Around 3 to 5 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in service sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
