- Providing technical support to customers via telephone and email.
- Performing on‑site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
- Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair.
- Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).
- Providing on‑site training to customers.
- Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module, logging all support tickets and service orders in the CRM Service.
- Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock.
- Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
- Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position.
- Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus.
- This position requires a highly motivated individual who can complete assigned tasks with little to no supervision.
- This position requires a technical degree in Electronics or Mechanics, Chemistry, Physics, or another technical discipline. A bachelor’s degree and/or engineering degree in the related areas is a plus.
- Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and tools for repairs is required.
- Preferred candidates will have at least three years’ experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
- This position requires up to 75% travelling time.
