Job Description

What will I be doing? As part of our dedicated Regional Field Sales Team, you will play a key role in securing new business for SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK. This is an exciting opportunity to use your sales expertise in a purpose‑led industry, helping organisations transition towards more sustainable waste and recycling solutions.

Day to day, you’ll be out in your local area building relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and offering a tailored Total Waste Solution. Your work will directly support our targets for sales performance, revenue growth, and sustainability. You’ll operate within a defined geographic territory, working closely with colleagues across operational, commercial, and customer service teams.

Strong communication will be essential — not only when collaborating internally, but also when explaining our recycling values and demonstrating why non‑landfill options are shaping the future of responsible waste management. Key responsibilities Securing profitable new business proactively and reactively within your area to meet sales and revenue targets. Building strong relationships with customers and presenting effective, sustainable waste solutions.

Reporting leads, calls, quotes, and contract activity accurately on the Company Operating System. Creating sales plans, delivering presentations, negotiating confidently at all levels, and supporting the wider Field Sales team. Promoting recycling‑led services and helping customers understand the benefits of resource‑efficient waste solutions.

IT literacy and confidence using CRM or digital reporting systems. The ability to create sales plans, present persuasively, and negotiate effectively at all levels. A collaborative approach and the ability to work creatively and effectively within a wider Field Sales team.

Experience within the waste or recycling industry is highly desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
