Rare opportunity with a global blue-chip manufacturer Technical Sales Manager - fluid system components Area: South Wales - Cardiff Swansea Newport The role of Technical Sales Manager The successful Technical Sales Manager will manage and develop around 300 active accounts with an area turnover of £1.2M 70% of your time selling fluid system components, values, temperature / pressure control gauges and other components into process end-users within oil refineries, aerospace, defence MOD, food manufacturing and water treatment 30% of your time selling into OEM's and MRO's The successful Technical Sales Manager will converse with technicians, process operators, through to middle management and C-suite decision makers Our client are looking for a strategic sales professional that is also able to provide bespoke turn‑key solutions This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a mechanical engineering bias with strong pre‑existing customer relationships in place The Company Our client are a global leading manufacturer and solutions provider that provide state‑of‑the‑art mechanical components that are essential in manufacturing industries such as aerospace, food manufacturing, oil & gas and MOD. The Candidate Experience selling mechanical engineering products such as valves, pumps, flow control, pressure gauges, temperature control, industrial weighing, measurement or components that are used on assembly / process lines. Experience selling into process end‑users is advantageous i.e. food manufacturing, MOD, water treatment, aerospace etc Our client will consider sales candidates with a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING background for example a sales person with a Mechanical Engineering HNC The Package Up to £60,000 basic OTE £10-£20k year 1 (1.5% of sales uncapped) #J-18808-Ljbffr
