About you

You may be an experienced maintenance technician, engineer, or tradesperson looking for your next challenge.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years' experience in preventative maintenance, servicing, or industrial machinery.
  • Has experience in automation or manufacturing environments (highly regarded).
  • Comes from a mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related trade background.
  • Enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers.
  • Is eager to learn and develop new technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on automated machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimise customer downtime.
  • A combination of scheduled services - either 6:30 - 3:30pm or 10:00am - 6:00pm.
  • Troubleshoot components such as bearings, gearboxes, motors, belts, and conveyors.
  • Assist with machine installations and upgrades.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide technical support.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance.
  • Complete service reports and documentation.
  • Participate in rostered administration days working from home.
  • Travel to local, interstate, and international sites as needed.

Required Skills

  • Mechanical fitting and fault-finding experience.
  • Experience servicing and maintaining automated equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
